UK B-Boy Championships 2012: German Qualifier Sets The Series Off In Style!

The road to the 2012 B-Boy Championships World Finals have begun! The first qualifier of the year took place in Oberhausen, Germany, over the weekend and dancers from all over Europe came to battle it out. Everybody was hungry to take their chance at moving one step closer to battling on the prestigious World Finals stage in London in October.

The B-Boy Championships German Qualifier also had the honour of introducing the new hip-hop solo battle to the B-Boy Championships community. Bruce Blanchard (Belgium) took the win and became the first dancer to qualify to compete in the First ever B-Boy Championships World Finals Hip-Hop battle. Joining him in October will be Flaco (Sweden) from world renowned Ghost Crew who won the solo b-boy battle and Miguel (Germany) who was the winner of the solo popping battle.

In the crew battle Style Crax (Germany) came out triumphant and secured themselves a place in the UK B-Boy Championships European Finals which will take place at IBE in September to determine who will represent Europe in London. 2012 is hotting up and the competition is set to be fierce!
