London’s Soul Mavericks to rep at the World B-Boy Champs 2011

The world’s most successful and prestigious breaking competition held its national finals at London’s O2 Academy Islington last night. The Soul Mavericks, an eight-strong collective from London beat 15 other crews from all around the UK and Ireland to win the coveted title of UK Champions.

The Nationals are the most reputed breaking event in the calendar and brings together the entire B-Boy scene in the country. It helps to establish new talent each year and elevate the scene through its National qualifiers, giving the UK a chance to be seen on a world stage.

The Soul Mavericks will now go on to challenge the greatest b-boy crews from around the globe at the 16th annual B-Boy Championships – World Finals in October at the O2 Academy Brixton.
